About

Docs are part of the product. They should be tested like it.

DocsAlive exists because the first thing a developer does with an API is copy an example, and too often that example no longer works.

Why we're building this

Code gets tests, types and CI. The examples that teach people to use that code usually get none of it. They drift a little with every release: a renamed argument, a removed import, an output format that changed years ago.

Nobody notices until a new user does. By then it's a support ticket, a frustrated first hour, or a quiet decision to try something else.

We think docs should be held to the same standard as the code: tested on every release, with problems fixed before customers see them, and a human in charge of every change.

How we work

  • Real claims only. Every number on this site comes from an engine run you can reproduce. No invented metrics, logos or testimonials.
  • Precision over noise. A tool that cries wolf gets switched off, so we measure false alarms and publish our misses.
  • Privacy by default. Sandboxed execution, no source-code retention, no tracking on this website.
  • Humans approve. We propose. You decide. DocsAlive is designed not to merge.
